But despite the reviews this does not fit a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5A, too short. My wife had one previously, which she loved.
Simple and always on. At first it bugged me that I could not access the battery or memory card but I quickly figured out I could loosen the screw, slide the metal bar over, change the battery and slide it back to tighten without a tool, coin or much hassle. This is a great price and I am buying two for friends. I keep my small Canon elph in my purse at all times. Have this camera wrap is great.
I'd recommend it to anyone, and at this price it can't be beat. This Camera Case fits perfectly on my new Samsung Digital. It looks teriffic, and it totally protected my Camera on a long trip to Cali and back.
I bought it for my Panasonic LX3 because I was not able to find a suitable cover for it and also the lens cover was beginning to bother me.This wrap attached to the tripod screw at the bottom of the camera and stretches to cover the whole camera including the lens (minus the cover). After using it, I felt my camera became much smaller in my pocket, even though it offers minimal drop protection. And to reply to people who complained that they're not able to access their batter/SD card slot after using it, I was able to rotate the metal bar that attaches to the tripod screw and have access to the battery/SD without the need for removing it. Bought this cover based on advice from the DPreview forums and I'm glad I did.
He's very pleased with it as it's very easy to use and is "Always on" the camera. We gave it to my Son-in-Law and it fits his smaller Panasonic camera just fine. I bought this case for my new Panasonic TZ5 as it was a recommended accessory on the Amazon page for the camera. It turns out that it's really too small for the TX5 as you have to stretch it to get it to wrap around the camera.
